Then and Now Home Tour
Enjoy touring some of the beautiful and historic homes of Bald Head Island on Saturday, October 12th from 1-5pm.
The tour is celebrating 201 years of Old Baldy by showcasing homes built throughout the span of Bald Head Island history.
Tickets are $25 for the tour if you make your reservation in advance or $30 the day of. A package ticket including a round-trip ferry ticket is available for $40. The cutoff for the package ticket is Thursday, October 10th at 4 pm.
If you purchased a package ticket you can check in and pick your ferry ticket up at Deep Point Marina from 9:30-11:30 on Saturday, October 12th. You will receive a map and a list of all of the homes and can start the tour at your leisure when you get to Bald Head Island. A golf cart or bicycle will be needed, as the different homes are too far apart to walk. If you need to rent a golf cart for the tour you can do that online here.
If you are already on the Island and have just purchased a ticket for the home tour, you can check in at any of the homes. A detailed list of the homes and directions to start the tour will be sent out to each participant on Friday, November 2nd.

Southern Living Magazine builds an Idea Home in a new location every year. In 2017 they selected Bald Head Island and designed and built a home that embodies the natural environment of the island. This home is no longer available for tours through Southern Living and this will be your final opportunity to tour the home and see the level of craftsmanship put into this stunning home.
Villa 28 is the premier property in the Villa neighborhood as it had an extensive renovation featuring top of the line appliances and features. The Villa Neighborhood was conceptualized in 1972 to create a healthy community that cherished and complimented the natural environment of Bald Head Island.
14 Dogwood Trail
Located on the 4th fairway of the exquisite BHI Golf Course is the stately home at 14 Dogwood Trail. Owned by a Designer and featured in The Haven magazine, this home will awe you at every glance. Built in 1983, this was one of the original homes on Bald Head Island. With various renovations over the years since it was built, see Bald Head evolve through 14 Dogwood trail.
